Despite the modest number of worshippers present on Wednesday evening the Lord's grace and presence was by no means diminished as we gathered to pray for our nation. The main task we have been charged with was the privilege of praising God both through song and improvised vocal praise. Over 90 minutes was devoted to that. In the midst of all that prayer several touching and very encouraging words we given to us. Linda and I had also been led to prepare a message of significant importance to share with those present.​​
Upcoming Elections: You are surely aware that, particularly in the recent years, Canada has been under incredible demonic attack and oppression. The result being that our nation has been increasingly been governed by what resembles a totalitarian-type regime. This trend has made the upcoming elections tremendously, I would even say historically, significant. To illustrate this reality a few relevant matters were briefly highlighted.
The level of continued support for the current governing officials suggests that many Canadians are not aware of some of the disturbing developments that have significantly changed our Country. Briefly...

1. Parental Rights: our current government has aggressively begun to restrict or appropriate rights that inherently belong to parents. If this trend continues parents will no longer be the ones chiefly responsible for raising children.

2. Freedom of Speech: under the insidious banner of "Hate Speech" those who believe in and proclaim Biblical values and beliefs may soon be fined and/or imprisoned.

3. MAID: the number of those choosing suicide as the preferred option to deal with suffering has increased alarmingly. Official reports on the MAID program indicate that 15, 343 Canadians chose suicide in 2023.

4. National Debt: elected officials have ruled as though exercising fiscal responsibility is no longer necessary; over the past four years our national debt has more than doubled!

5. Charitable Status: legislation had already been drafted, with the intention of implementing law that would revoke the charitable status of all organizations whose primary aim is the furthering of religion.​
PROPHETIC WORDS/IMAGES:
During the very quiet worship time of the evening, Chris Zettel (who sings and plays keyboard) shared this sense:

"The Lord is ministering to our hearts and has already begun to pour out His Spirit upon us. He wants us to get in touch with our hunger and thirst for more of Him. The more we know our hunger and thirst for Him, the more we should cry out to Him and ask for more."

Nearing the close of the evening Linda shared with us how see had had a very strong sense of the presence of 'warrior' angels posted around the perimeter of the assembly; angels who had been sent to protect us as we praised and worshiped the Lord.
