Buildings

When the Lord wishes to speak into some particular aspect of our personal life circumstances, He will often use a building to do so. In our waking life, we recognize different buildings by the purposes which they serve, and these purposes shed light on their symbolic meaning. For example, banks are a place where we can deposit or withdraw money, schools are places where we go to learn and hardware stores are a place to obtain the tools or the materials that we need for a particular project. So when we find these buildings in our dreams, the Lord wishes to draw our attention to these purposes, whether it be literal -such as withdrawing actual cash from a bank - or symbolic - such as making a withdrawal from the store of "God's favour" (see the post on Money for the symbolic meaning of money).
We've listed below some of the more common types of buildings that will come up in dreams and their possible symbolic meaning. This is not an exhaustive list, but it will help you get started in deciphering your night parables.

I have put before you a number of buildings and their possible meaning but in the following videos, Marcel delves more deeply into the symbolism of each building by highlighting certain details such as the condition, the colour or the ownership of these buildings as well as some of the activities that might be going on in each one, either by the dreamer or by others.
